📖 The Missing Middle

Arun wrote a story in which a lost fox suddenly arrived home. His readers enjoyed the beginning and ending but asked how the fox found its way. Arun added a middle scene: the fox recognized a crooked fence beside its den. That clue connected the problem to the solution. He did not need three new adventures. One well-chosen event made the ending feel earned instead of accidental.

1. What is missing from the first version?

2. What clue does Arun add?
