📖 Which Tower Is Taller?
In a made-up building challenge, Ana measured her block tower with a ruler and recorded 32 centimeters. Ben said his tower was taller because it had 18 blocks, while Ana's had only 12. Their teacher asked them to measure both towers the same way. Ben's tower measured 27 centimeters. His blocks were thinner. They learned that counting pieces could describe a tower, but it could not compare heights fairly when the pieces were different sizes.
1. What is Ana's tower height?
2. Why does Ben think his tower is taller?
3. Which tower is taller, and by how much?
4. Why is block count misleading here?
